One of the gals training for the Triathlon with me happens to live just down the block. This is great for a number of reasons but mainly because I now have a running buddy! We hit the ground hard tonight and made it about 5 miles with very limited walk breaks. She's actually training for the NYC half marathon in March. We're going to try to do a 9 mile run on Saturday. Assuming NYC isn't hit with another foot of snow.
Tomorrow night is the first Group Training Session. It's a "social run." Whatever that means.
