By day's end, I looked like an idiot. There was no rain, no wind and certainly no hurricane. It appears that despite his numerous threats, he read my letter and heeded my warning. Earl did not make an appearance in NYC, Lisa and baby Alexis' plane made it in (early!) and we saw a gorgeous sunset on the way home tonight! Thank heavens for this 4 day weekend ahead. I feel more relaxed already.
